“A constellation of points in space, describing the motion and velocity of the aircraft. ”
- Ralph Parker RIBA
These images show the quarter of a million rivets used to create Slipstream. A constellation of points in space, describing the motion and velocity of the aircraft. Each of the rivets has a number, and a name, generated by a complex algorithm linked to the movement of the plane through space and time. A jumbo jet uses one million rivets in its construction, four times that of Slipstream. On the clearest night from earth it is possible to see around 4000 stars with the human eye.
